It’s another excellent job by TeAM’s MCiS San Antonio Group.

MCiS San Antonio received a score of 88 on its Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI), the group’s best-ever tally, and a rating of excellent. CCRI’s grades are excellent, outstanding, satisfactory and unsatisfactory.

TeAM members Gil Esparza and  Gary Rigdon were singled out for their superior work.

“We are extremely proud of the work Gary and Gil do every day in ensuring cyber readiness,” TeAM’s San Antonio lead Roger Beltran said. “The result comes as little surprise, given their hard work and preparation.”

According to DISA, the purpose of the CCRI is to “harden the infrastructure of the Global Information Grid.”

Administered by DISA’s Field Security Operations group (FSO) the inspections are designed to evaluated a site’s compliance with information assurance and network defense policies, as well as configuration standards for various technologies as dictated by the DoD Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG).

DISA staff spent the week of Sept. 19 analyzing the team’s cyber readiness before issuing its grade.

“This rating is an example of the excellent work we’ve come to expect out of San Antonio,” TeAM CEO Charles Davis said. “We congratulate them on their high marks.”
