Time Away From Work
Holidays – Ten paid holidays, including New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King’s Birthday, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Paid Time Off (PTO) - Three weeks of PTO (for one-three years of service) is usable after 90-day probationary period. PTO leave up to eighty (80) hours may be carried over to the next calendar year. PTO time increases with service to four weeks at the fourth (4th) year of service.
Personal Leave – Three days per 12 months of employment for immediate family death or emergencies and one day per 12 months of employment for all other emergencies.
Leave Without Pay – After 12 months of employment and under unusual circumstance, up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave per 12-month period.
Civic Leave – Five days for which employees will receive the difference between regular wages and amount received for juror or witness service.
Active/Military Duty – Up to two weeks for military reservists serving on active duty during which employee will receive the difference between employee’s gross military pay and regular pay.
Health Insurance – Employees may elect to obtain either Open Access HMO or PPO health insurance coverage for themselves, their spouse, and other dependent family members.
Dental Insurance – Employees may elect to participate in a subscription dental plan that entitles participants to certain treatments free of charge and others at significantly reduced rates.
Vision Insurance - Employees may elect to participate in a subscription vision plan that entitles participants to exams and glasses or contact lenses with a small copay. The plan is administered by Guardian and utilizes the Davis Vision Network.
Life Insurance – Coverage equal to twice the employee’s annual salary. Maximum life insurance coverage is $500,000. Additional insurance can be acquired by the employee.
Short Term Disability Insurance – Benefit is 60% of weekly earnings beginning on the 15th day of disability and may continue up to 11 weeks.
Long Term Disability Insurance – Benefit is 60% of monthly earnings after 90 days (13 weeks) and continuing until age 65 or determination made by the insurance carrier that the employee might resume work activities.
EAP- Employee Assistance Plan WORK LIFE MATTERS through Guardian is provided to all employees providing guidance for personal issues.
Flexible Spending Accounts – Employees may contribute a portion of their pre-tax salary to flexible spending accounts for medical, dental, and vision expenses, and insurance premiums.
401(k) Plan – Employees are eligible to enroll in TeAM’s 401(k) program after 91 days of successful employment. Employees may contribute a percentage of their annual salary subject to certain limitations on total contributions (currently $17,500.00 for employees up to the age of 50, or $22,000.00 for those over 50). TeAM currently matches up to 3% of the employee’s salary contributed annually.
Profit Sharing – Profit sharing is a function of the profitability of the Corporation within a calendar year [TeAM, Inc. fiscal year].
Personal Financial Planning Services – These services are available to all active employees at no cost. Individual and confidential consultations may be requested in areas including investments, life insurance, long-term care, annuities, retirement planning, estate planning, educational planning, and 401k asset allocation.
